TERMS OF BUSINESS: Subject to the Bar Mutual Indemnity Fund’s (“BMIF”) terms and in appropriate cases only, instructions are received from: (1) solicitors and/or other authorised persons on: (a) general civil/common law matters on the General Council of the Bar’s new standard terms as per  http://www.barcouncil.org.uk/media/161048/the__new__standard_contractual_terms_for_the_supply_of_legal_services_by_barristers_to_authorised_persons_2012.pdf; (b) commercial law matters on the COMBAR’s new standard terms (Agreement for the Supply of Legal Services by a Barrister in a Commercial Case – Clause 5 Basis B; and, Clause 7 Option (c)) as per http://www.combar.com/files/Combar%20CLLS%20Barrister's%20terms%20Version%201%204%206%20February%202013.pdf; and, (2) Direct Public Access (“DPA”) clients on individually negotiated terms based on my standard DPA terms, a copy of which are available on request.
